ENGELMAN BERGER WELCOMES ATTORNEY SHELLEY DETWILLER DiGIACOMO

Attorney Shelley Detwiller DiGiacomo has joined Engelman Berger as a partner, merging her own successful practice into the firm. She brings more than 25 years of experience in business law, corporate law, and securities law to enhance the firm’s services for clients.

Detwiller DiGiacomo began her legal career with an international law firm in New York City, where she gained extensive experience in international mergers and acquisitions, as well as complex financial transactions. She later returned to Arizona where her practice included advising startups and small businesses, from formation to dissolution. Detwiller DiGiacomo established a successful two-attorney corporate practice in 2013.

A magna cum laude graduate of Arizona State University, DiGiacomo earned a Bachelor of Science degree in political science in 1995, then went on to obtain a master’s degree from New York University in 1996 before earning her law degree from Cornell in 1999. At Cornell, she was inducted into the Order of the Coif and served as an article editor for the Cornell Law Review.

She is a member of the State Bar of Arizona, the American Bar Association, and the Arizona Women Lawyers Association, and is admitted to practice law in New York and Arizona.
