Hiring a Commercial Litigation Paralegal

Engelman Berger is looking to hire a motivated, experienced, and organized Commercial Litigation Paralegal to join the EB Team. This paralegal will be a valuable part of our legal team, often working on all phases of a matter from beginning to resolution.

We are seeking an incredibly organized individual who thrives on developing and utilizing a strong system for prioritizing and completing all responsibilities ahead of need. A strong candidate will demonstrate an understanding of complex business-related legal documents and support document management in a paper-light environment. Due to the amount of document preparation and maintenance we handle, our litigation paralegal must be highly organized as they will be responsible for assisting in the collection of documents (including ESI), organization, review, possible production, and use of such information in depositions, for motions, and in court proceedings. Other duties will include drafting, proofreading, verifying, and editing correspondence, pleadings, routine motions, etc.

The paralegal has direct communication with, and acts as a liaison between, our attorneys, opposing counsel, clients, witnesses, support staff, and court officials. This position requires a very proactive approach to managing both attorney and paralegal workloads, while always maintaining a professional and client service oriented demeanor.

A minimum of 5 years of law firm experience in litigation is required. Specific practice areas to include Real Estate, Banking and Finance, Creditor/Debtor Rights, Landlord/Tenant, and Partnership/LLC/Business Disputes.
