Engelman Berger is a Proud Supporter of the Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers

Engelman Berger Program Sponsor

Engelman Berger is proud to be a supporter of the Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers program. Our firm appreciates the hard work and dedication that goes into being a teacher and educating Arizona students.

Since 2016, Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers works hard to provide teachers all over Arizona with additional resources that they can use to help enhance learning in their classrooms. Fiesta Bowl recognizes that because of limited funding, many of Arizona’s hardworking teachers end up spending their own money to purchase supplies and resources to enhance their classroom experience for their students. Knowing this, Fiesta Bowl developed a program that aids teachers by providing them with money to buy tools to enhance the educational experience of their students without them having to spend their own money in doing so. Every fall, Arizona teachers are given the opportunity to fill out an online application providing their school name and describing their goals and wishes for their classroom. These wishes are then selected by a random drawing and the winning teachers are each given a $5,000 grant. The winning teachers are also invited to walk in the Fiesta Bowl Parade where they are recognized for their commitment to their students. During the two years that this program has been active, Wishes for Teachers has granted teachers all over Arizona with a total of $1.2 million and impacted over 60,000 students.

The Fiesta Bowl organization is fueled by the spirit of competition and is dedicated to enhancing various organizations that make an effort to contribute to their community’s success by supporting youth, sports, and education. It is the Fiesta Bowl organization’s mission to enhance Arizona non-profit organizations through charitable giving. From 2017 to 2018, the Fiesta Bowl gifted $2.5 million to a variety of non-profit organizations throughout Arizona. It has gifted $10 million over the past seven years.
