Tonight the St. Patrick’s Knights of Columbus counsel is hosting a 1960’s Themed Rock-a-Thon Experience. Funds raised will benefit the Children’s Cancer Network. The event will include a dinner, dancing, and silent and live auctions.
Having a child with cancer is a painful and extremely difficult experience for families, which is why the Children’s Cancer Network, a non-profit organization, devotes its time providing support to families with children who have been diagnosed with cancer. The organization does so by offering families financial assistance, promoting education, encouraging healthy lifestyles, and creating an awareness of the issues around childhood cancer.
This year, Engelman Berger is a sponsor of the Rock-a-Thon and we look forward to supporting both the Knights of Columbus and the Children’s Cancer Network in such a wonderful cause. Engelman Berger attorney, Damien Meyer, is a member of the St. Patrick’s Knight of Columbus counsel and helped plan the event. Damien will be in attendance with fellow Engelman Berger attorney, Kurt Peterson.
The Knights of Columbus has grown over the years to include more than 1.9 million members throughout the United States, Canada, the Philippines, Mexico, Poland, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Panama, the Bahamas, the Virgin Islands, Cuba, Guatemala, Guam, Saipan, Lithuania, Ukraine, and South Korea. This organization is focused on charitable activities locally, nationally, and internationally.
